Melody Often is a comic book creator out of Baltimore, Maryland. She makes Trinadot. Issue #4 will be released in September.
In 2011 Melody organized the Baltimore Time Travel Anthology, or BTTA, featuring a cross section of some of Baltimore's best and brightest comic book artists. The comic is available for order online via Atomic Books and Ltd Comp.
Beginning in 2008, Melody has written, penciled, and inked the ongoing series Trinadot and has released a limited print edition of each chapter annually. The third chapter was released in September of 2011 at SPX.
In 2005 Melody was awarded a Xeric grant for In The Hands Of Boys which was also named Baltimore City Paper's Best Comic of 2005. Since then she has completed the second issue, which is the conclusion of the book, with plans for its release in 2012.
Melody is usually working on Trinadot, but between panels she is focused on illustrating and painting.
